High Headboard Ottoman Bed Assembly – Step by Step Process

Assembling your new Single or Double Ottoman Beds with a high headboard is simple if you follow these easy instructions! Just unpack everything carefully, gather your tools, and let’s get started. You’ll need only a spanner and Allen keys for the setup.

Assembly Tips to Keep in Mind:

• Set up in a dry, open area.
• Check all tools are ready to go.
• Ensure the bed’s legs are stable on the ground.
• Avoid tightening screws fully until all parts are correctly adjusted.
• Don’t test the lift mechanism until assembly is complete and parts are secured.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

Step 1 – Attach Chrome Feet or Castors:

Push each of the four chrome feet into the sockets on the base unit to get started.

Step 2 – Connect Gas Pistons

Attach the gas pistons to the hinge points on both the lid and base. Use the bolts provided to secure them.

Step 3 – Position the Ottoman Bed Base Units

Place the base units with rounded corners facing outward as shown in the illustration.

Step 4 – Attach U-Clips

Slide the two U-clips onto the base units to connect them securely.

Step 5 – Secure the Ottoman Bed Lids

Use the 100mm plastic-headed bolt to fasten the bed lids together.

Step 6 – Secure the Headboard (End Lift Base)

Locate the pre-marked holes on the base by opening it. If you have a floor-standing headboard, secure it with short bolts, or use the same method if your headboard has wooden struts.

Step 6 – Secure the Headboard (Side Lift Base)

Feel for the bolt holes on the base unit. Insert 4 bolts (100mm) and use spacers to position the headboard securely. Use the same steps if you’re attaching a headboard with wooden struts.
